Position will float between Radiology, Special Procedures and Cardiology.
Ensures continuity of patient care with outside nursing unit, providing patient safety and comfort and appropriate communication.

Prepares and evaluates patient for invasive/interventional procedures.

Administers contrast agents and medications to ensure continuity and prompt patient care.

Observes and monitors patients requiring cardiac monitoring to ensure stability of patient's cardiac condition.

Maintains department and hospital records and appropriate supplies.

Maintains emergency equipment and supplies within the department. Assists with procedures in patient care areas of the department.
<br><br><b>Qualifications</b><br>  Education:<br>
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Current Minnesota RN license.

<br><br>Experience:<br>
3-5 current years of experience in an Internventional Radiology environment.

<br><br>Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:<br>
Excellent communications and interpersonal relationship skills.
BCLS certification.
ACLS Certified preferred.
Proficient in providing conscious sedation.
Cardiac monitor training. Knowledge of common nursing procedures and use of equipment.
Good patient teaching skills.
Able to bend, reach, assist with transfer and lift 50 pounds.
