- Assigns CPT procedure codes for clinician services to assure appropriate billing and reimbursement.
- Assigns diagnostic (ICD-9-CM and/or procedural codes (ICD-9-CM & CPT) on all medical record types at an advanced level to ensure proper reimbursement and accurate data base information.
- Assigns modifiers to codes.
- Reviews charts and provides one-to-one and group educational feedback to the clinicians.
- Interacts with clinician and other clinic/corporate departments to assure compliance and appropriate billing practices.
- Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
<br><br><b>Qualifications</b><br>  Education:<br>
- Completion of accredited coding program (Certified Coding Specialist or Certified Professional Coder)
- Certified coder through AHIMA, AAPC, or equivalent required

<br><br>Experience:<br>
- Minimum 2 years specialty coding in the area of radiation oncology.
- Ability/knowledge to code multiple specialties.

Practices proper safety precautions in the magnet environment and informs patients, staff and visitors according to established guidelines.

Reviews, organizes and distributes patient paperwork, films, duplicates, and file jackets to Radiologist for interpretation.

Ensure speed and quality of service in report turnaround to referring physicians.

Maintains neat and orderly work areas (e.g. exam room, supply area, scan area, computer area, and adjacent work areas) daily according to established guidelines.

Distributes and maintains supplies at all locations.

Monitors and controls quality assurance for MRI equipment and processors at all locations.

Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology; ARRT registered or registry eligible. Willing to become MRI Registered within 1 year.

& Major Responsibilities  Responsible for delivery of quality patient care in accordance with established standards of practice. Assist the PICC physican in performing invasive radiology studies, both diagnostic and therapeutic.

Utilizes nursing process by assessing, implementing and evaluating care given to assigned patients.

Communicates accurately and effectively with patient/family and healthcare members regarding plan of care, nursing interventions and patient information.

Coordinates care with physicians. Directs, coordinates and acts as a liaison for other health care personnel.

Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for customers and co-workers.

Acts as a role model and resource to staff in order to promote teamwork and cooperation.

Participates in activities that contribute to improve clinical competency,
personnel satisfaction and professional growth.

Identifies, assesses and addresses the special needs of adolescent, adult and

<br><br><b>Qualifications</b><br>  Qualifications:
Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program. Current license to practice Registered Nursing in Minnesota.

<br><br>Experience:<br>
Two years RN Critical Care experience. Previous Interventional Radiology (PICC) experience preferred. ACLS preferred.

Special Knowledge, <br><br>Skills and Abilities:<br>
Knowledge and expertise in the area of interventional radiology;
Ability to work in a team setting;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
BCLS certification;
ACLS certification preferred;
Basic computer skills;

& Major Responsibilities  The scheduling manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the HealthEast Scheduling Services Mammography, Radiology, and Surgery scheduling call center teams. Responsibilities include the planning and organizing of resources to ensure that operationally effective, customer focused teams are in place, the designing and implementing of scheduling best practices, collaboration/partnership with multiple HealthEast departments, and providing scheduling services to customers.

Supervises the day-to-day operations of the department to ensure the department meets the needs and expectations of HealthEast and its customers. Manages the long term operational needs of the call center.

In partnership with the Director, collaborates with internal and external
customers as well as team members to identify and resolve issues.

Is responsible for human resources management within the department to ensure quality service and positive employee relations.

Develops and implements training plans and quality standards.

Compiles and analyzes data to help develop action plans to improve customer service, work processes, and employee productivity.
