Primary Function & Major Responsibilities Perform ultrasound procedures. Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures to aid in diagnosis determination. Reviews cases with the Radiologist to ensure accuracy of clinical data obtained. Assists Radiologist and/or staff physician in CT procedure performance to expedite patient flow. Assists in maintenance of equipment to insure proper function and availability. Maintains department aesthetics to ensure appropriate image. Maintains supply inventory to ensure availability of required items. Provides appropriate information for billing purposes to ensure prompt and accurate charge data. Trains alternate staff to provide adequate staffing. Coordinates coverage for ultrasound procedures to provide continuous service availability. Provides coverage for after-hour services to ensure continuous service availability.

Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited sonography program, an accepted candidate of RDMS, or an accredited School of Radiologic Technology with at least one year on the job training in ultrasound, ARRT (R) in current standing, and RDMS registry eligible. Transcranial doppler experience preffered.

Experience:

Primary Function & Major Responsibilities The scheduling manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the HealthEast Scheduling Services Mammography, Radiology, and Surgery scheduling call center teams. Responsibilities include the planning and organizing of resources to ensure that operationally effective, customer focused teams are in place, the designing and implementing of scheduling best practices, collaboration/partnership with multiple HealthEast departments, and providing scheduling services to customers. Supervises the day-to-day operations of the department to ensure the department meets the needs and expectations of HealthEast and its customers. Manages the long term operational needs of the call center. In partnership with the Director, collaborates with internal and external customers as well as team members to identify and resolve issues. Is responsible for human resources management within the department to ensure quality service and positive employee relations. Develops and implements training plans and quality standards. Compiles and analyzes data to help develop action plans to improve customer service, work processes, and employee productivity. Is responsible for communication within the department to ensure that information is shared for effective operations and to promote positive employee relations. Works with Director to ensure proper fiscal management of department. Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the job to ensure appropriate maintenance of all privacy related issues. Performs all other related duties as requested to meet departmental needs.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree preferred.

Experience:
Minimum of two years of experience in healthcare including work in a clinic or Hospital department to include at least one year of supervisory experience. Special Knowledge,
